We've spent four episodes talking about what the ego does when it's defended. The fears. The instincts. The subtype patterns. The places where we're most stuck.
Today we talk about what becomes available when we're not.
Every Enneagram type has a Virtue — a quality that's already present in us, not waiting to be built but waiting to be uncovered. The Virtue isn't the opposite of the Passion. It's the clear signal underneath the static. The Passion is the distortion. The Virtue is what the heart sounds like when it's actually at rest.
Anthony and I walk through all nine today. We also talk about two things that actually help these qualities emerge — because saying "access your Virtue" without telling you how is about as useful as telling someone to relax.
This is the last episode of Enneagram Essentials. The Enneagram isn't an intellectual exercise. It's an invitation to live differently. I hope something in this series has made that invitation feel more concrete, more possible, more real.
